Detailed Overview
The Plastic Bag Sealer utilizes continuous band sealing technology to achieve production speeds of 0-12 meters per minute, far exceeding the capacity of impulse sealers. Bags are fed through heated upper and lower conveyor bands that apply consistent heat and pressure along the entire seal length, creating strong, hermetic seals on polyethylene, polypropylene, and laminated films.
The adjustable temperature control (0-300°C) and variable speed drive accommodate different film thicknesses and compositions without tooling changes. The sealing bands are typically PTFE-coated to prevent sticking and ensure clean release. An integrated cooling fan or air blast sets the seal immediately after heating, allowing bags to be handled immediately upon exit.
Suitable for high-volume food packaging, agricultural seed bagging, and consumer goods packaging where throughput requirements exceed manual sealing capacity. Available in horizontal and vertical configurations to match bag orientation and product flow.
