Detailed Overview
The Pouch Sealing Machine is engineered for pre-formed pouch applications including stand-up pouches (SUP), flat three-side-seal bags, and gusseted formats. Available in rotary indexing or linear conveyor configurations, the system automatically opens pouches, fills product (when integrated with dosing systems), seals the top, and discharges finished packages.
The sealing system employs constant heat bars with precise temperature control (±2°C) and adjustable dwell time to achieve hermetic seals through multi-layer laminated films including PET/PE, PET/AL/PE, and nylon barriers. Optional nitrogen gas flush capability extends shelf life of oxygen-sensitive products by displacing headspace air before sealing.
Widely used in spice packaging, snack foods, pet treats, and pharmaceutical powder applications. The quick-change format parts accommodate pouch widths from 80mm to 300mm with minimal changeover time.
